Founder: Achraff ADJILEYE
Achraff Adjileye is a research engineer passionate about football analytics and artificial intelligence. He founded ScoreSphere, a platform that uses computer vision models to analyze full-game videos of 5-a-side football matches and provides physical performance stats for each player — opening the door to a new world of data and analytics for recreational football.
Achraff has developed several innovative projects in the field of AI applied to sports. He is notably the author of RisingBALLER, a foundation model based on transformers for analyzing football player data. This model treats each match as a sequence of players, similar to tokens in language models, enabling the generation of contextual player representations. RisingBALLER was presented at the StatsBomb Conference 2024 and paved the way for the development of analytics models that are aware of player identity.
